I have been drawing and painting for most of my life. After growing up
in New York and graduating from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, I
then married and lived abroad for 17 years. During that time I continued painting and doing photography in South Africa, the Netherlands,
England and Belgium, while raising two wonderful children.
During my years in England I had four paintings accepted by The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, and exhibited a photograph in The National Portrait Gallery of London.
While living in Amsterdam I participated in many group shows, including one in the Vincent Van Gogh Museum, as well as a solo show at the Kasteel Doorwerth near Arnhem, the Netherlands. My last solo show was in 2014 at The Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Museum in Baltimore. I exhibited paintings I had done at the harbor over a seven month period in the summer of 2013, along with some portraits.
In 2016 I participated in the Domino Sugar Sign Group Show at the Crystal Moll Gallery in Federal Hill. Since then I have been doing plein air painting in Vermont and Massachusetts, as well as locally.
I now live in Baltimore County where I have found a thriving community of fellow artists. I keep myself busy painting and working in the garden with native plants.
